Our Vision

Life is about choices.  Every second of every day we make one of two choices; one that will have a positive impact or one that will have a negative one.  The choices we make not only effect our personal lives, but those of our family, friends and the world around us. 

Choosing the jelly doughnut for breakfast has a negative impact on our bodies.  Choosing to unplug the coffee pot has a positive impact on our carbon footprint.  Choosing to ignore the person trying to merge in front of us has a negative impact on both of our attitudes (not to mention the traffic flow).   And choosing to buy a product from a company who embraces environmental and socially conscious practices can have positive global impacts that reach far beyond our initial purchases.

We believe that responsible choices can literally change the course of the world.  We also believe that most people would prefer make the right choice, but sometimes adding another task to our already overloaded days can make it seem daunting.  It is hard enough to fold the laundry, let alone worry about where to find earth friendly detergent to wash it in. 

It is with these beliefs that coolerchoices.com was born. 

We believe that by doing the leg work for you and providing you with easy access to alternatives for everyday life, that you too will make the cooler choice.  We spend our days finding products that are made with earth friendly alternatives or from companies that are employing more sustainable or socially responsible practices.  We also believe that in order to invoke wide spread change, the cooler choice cannot break the bank.  While a few our products may seem a bit pricey - the vast majority we believe are fairly priced and comparable to their conventional counterparts. 

From using recycled paper and supporting various charities, to minimizing our packaging and offsetting our carbon footprint, we aim to make cooler choices for ourselves, our families and the world we live in.  Don't get us wrong, we have our moments of environmental and social rebellion (opting for the paper cup when the reusable one was left at home), but we try our hardest to find ways to leave a positive legacy.

We also believe in creating positive experiences in the lives of the people around us.  We believe that if we treat our employees, partners and customers with respect and kindness, they in turn will be empowered to share the love.
